Jennifer Lynn & The Groove Revival - British Invasion

Join Jennifer Lyn & The Groove Revival for "The British Invasion - A Tribute to the Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, and Beyond".

This will be an evening of tribute music to one of the most revolutionary musical and cultural movements of a generation.

American popular music experienced a seismic shift in 1964. That year, British bands launched what became commonly known as an “invasion” of the American pop charts and culture. Led by The Beatles, other British bands and artists such as the Rolling Stones, and many more completely and dramatically affected the course of rock & roll in America. At no other time in the 20th century had American popular music been so jolted by foreign sounds and influences.

The evening will start with music from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, and the Animals, and the evening will continue to weave through a storyline of two decades worth of music culminating with British Blues-Rock icons such as Cream, Led Zeppelin, the Jeff Beck Group, and many more. The music will be paired with storytelling and anecdotes about the bands, musicians, and songs we all know and love.
