We are looking for local comedians interested in participating in our Open Mic Comedy Nights at the Empire Arts Center in Grand Forks. All are welcome!
This is the perfect space for an intimate performance experience with a welcoming audience of peers. We want to give up-and-coming and more experienced comedians a professional theater venue.
A prime opportunity to share and learn from each other while developing their skills to a whole ‘nother level.
Comedians who register with us on our website for each monthly performance can be given guaranteed spots and will be showcased on our media. Never fear! We will always keep spots open for walk-ins! Amateur to professional performers have a stage to vet their jokes. First time amateurs performers will get 3 mins, PROs will get a 5mins.
The Open Mic Comedy Nights at the Black Box Theater in the Empire Arts Center has a $5 charge at the door for both comedians and audience members. This is to pay for the costs of the venue and the event.
