What is

The 1919 Lounge?

New York City in your living room

The Empire has been unable to host The 1919 Lounge since fall 2019, but The 1919 Lounge is returning in September 2022. Typically, the 1919 Lounge is presented biannually, features a Broadway performer, and seats approximately 50-60 audience members in an upscale environment with table side service for food and drinks. Each table is only a few steps away from the performer, making for an unforgettable experience. Tickets are available by reservation only, and due to the limited number, we recommend buying in advance. There is no dress code for this event, although many audience members do choose to dress semiformal.

In conjunction with performances at The 1919 Lounge, the Empire Arts Center contracts with each artist whenever possible to provide a master class that is open to local students and to the public. For more information about attending or performing in a master class, please call the Empire Arts Center.
