Japan Fest Kick-off movie night is on Friday, July 7th at 7 pm at Empire Arts Center!

FREE Admission, thanks to Mayville State University and a movie from Japan Foundation.

July 7th is "Tanabata", Star Festival in Japan. We will celebrate Star Festival and Japan Fest Kick-off together with Japanese activities, music, and following the Japanese movie "Dad's Lunch Box".

Special guest performers: Duo Cantabile and Red River Trio
They visited Kanuma city, a friendship city of Grand Forks in Japan this spring. We are fortunate to have a chance to hear their music and experience in Japan.
