Live performances by Ase Ackerman, Frengs, and Jack Bryan!
Ase Ackerman: Ase Ackerman is a singer/songwriter based out of Grand Forks, with roots back in Montana. His music includes covers of blues, indie, rock, folk, and pop songs from all eras
Frengs: Listening to Frengs is like spilling hot coffee in your lap while driving down a mountain road as the sun sets behind the hills and small birds sing in the distance. With a blend of punk, folk, and rock, there are definitely some sounds being made when they play. Fans of Frengs often describe their music as “surprisingly tolerable” and “better than silence." Whether it’s Jeremy behind the drum kit or Ben breaking his 100th string of the week one thing is certain: if you come to a show, you’ll hear something.
Jack Bryan: Jack Bryan, a 22-year-old Grand Forks native, picked up his first guitar just short of three years ago—and he’s completely self-taught! He has a deep passion for creating original music and loves writing his own songs. Hop into a car with Jack, and you’ll never know what genre you’ll hear next—his appreciation for music spans a wide variety of styles. Currently a student at the University of North Dakota, Jack is set to graduate next year with a degree in Entrepreneurship. He’ll then aim to merge his business education with his love for music to carve out a unique path for himself.
