Please join us at for the premiere of this new play, presented by Theatre Without Walls, with 2 performances (2 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.) on Sunday, August 3, 2025. We are kicking off our 4-state tour of this new play right here at the Empire Arts Center! Free will donation at door to help raise funds for travel expenses to Omaha, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. There will be a 30-minute talk back after the show.
Synopsis: A researcher visits the Jamestown State Hospital in North Dakota to research former patients with psychiatric illness buried in the hospital's cemetery. She digs into century-old patient records to tell the stories of the dead. What she hasn't bargained on is meeting her subjects in person.
