On November 10, 1919, The Grand Theater opened its doors for the first time to a crowd of over 800 people.
In 1928, the Grand showed the worlds first talking movie, “The Lights of New York.”
Today, the Empire is proud to have been a keystone of the arts and culture for 108 years.
Join us on November 10 at 7PM as we show "The Lights of New York," and open our pop-up gallery, "What's in an Empire?" This gallery will feature artifacts and photos from the Empire's past, including several never-before-seen items.
Presented by EAPC Architects Engineers. Tickets Available at the Door.
